Sindh scholars shine: Four win HEC excellence awards

KARACHI: Four researchers and teachers from Sindh were among the 10 recipients of the Higher Education Commission Pakistan's (HEC) excellence awards. They received cash prizes for their outstanding performances in various categories at a ceremony in Islamabad. In the Social Sciences category, Dr Nadia Agha from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, won the best publication award. Dr Jawad Sarwar from Lahore University of Management Sciences was named Best Researcher, while Dr Mahnaz Mansoor from Hamdard University secured the Best Young Researcher prize. In Physical Sciences, Dr Muhammad Ikram from Government College University Lahore won the best publication award.
